Artists Statement
in drawing Even though my past twenty nine years have been devoted to teaching junior high art,
my avocation is drawing. In turn, I have tried to direct my style in glass
toward a technique
unique to this medium.
Presently, I have been painting on a piece of glass that has been carefully chosen for its color
pattern.
I work to transform this piece into an interesting landscape by adding certain details.
Stained glass painting is a very old technique htat adds to the variety of glass art. Early cathedrals
throughout the world
exhibit stained glass that is painted to depict stories and scenes from the Bible.
